Polish QA Proofreader (Video Games)

Location: Ottawa, Canada; hybrid work from home and in-office according to project demands; applicants must live in the Ottawa area.

Salary: $19.75 CAD per hour, with a $2.50 per-hour bonus after 7:00 PM.

What you will do

• Proofread spelling, syntax, typography, and other language issues in video game texts and content.
• Check content consistency and recommend necessary changes.
• Write error reports.
• Perform minor, simple translations.
• Ensure subtitles match the audio tracks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Polish.
• Live in the Ottawa area.
• Be available to work from home and in-office according to project demands.
• Hold Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, an open work permit, a Working Holiday Visa, or be in the process of requesting a work permit.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and time efficiently.
• Comfort with digital technologies, including computers, video game consoles, and touchscreens.
• Interest in the video game industry.
