Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Uppaluri Lab (Cancer Immunology)

Location: Boston, MA, US; 100% onsite.

Salary: $72,000–$76,385 per year.

What you will do

• Design and execute in vitro and in vivo experiments using pre-clinical mouse models and translational approaches.
• Process and analyze patient-derived tissues and samples from ongoing clinical trials.
• Develop ex-vivo human-immune model systems and investigate tumor microenvironment and T cell biology.
• Conduct data analysis, interpret results, and define molecular correlates of treatment response.
• Maintain accurate records, write reports and primary research articles, and prepare and deliver presentations.
• Write funding applications and contribute to laboratory safety, organization, and productivity.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in molecular biology, immunology, or an equivalent field.
• Experience with both cell culture and mouse disease modeling.
• Hands-on experience with immunologic assays, including flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Peer-reviewed publication track record.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and collaborative approach to working in a team.
