Principal Designer (Web3)

Location: New York — Hybrid; Toronto, Canada — Remote; United States — Remote. A hybrid working schedule is also available, with the option to work fully remotely or from the nearest Moonbase.

What you will do

• Own high-priority hirify.global and partner projects end to end, from concept through delivery.
• Lead creative for launches and go-to-market campaigns through original ideas and hands-on design.
• Work across brand, product, motion, and AI video to deliver cohesive multidisciplinary work.
• Partner with the Executive Creative Director to uphold design standards and visual identity.
• Mentor designers through reviews, feedback, and guidance while collaborating with project managers, strategists, and developers.
• Present creative work to stakeholders, clients, and partners, and introduce relevant design tools, trends, and AI workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional design experience, ideally in a creative or digital agency, with a strong portfolio of high-profile work.
• Experience in web3, blockchain, fintech, AI, or emerging technology companies.
• Ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects as a hands-on contributor.
• Experience creating broadcast-quality advertisements using AI-driven design tools and traditional methods.
• Strong command of branding, digital design, UX/UI, motion, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with design systems and scalable visual frameworks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain creative rationale to stakeholders and clients.
• Strong organization and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, plus familiarity with WebGL, GSAP, or Three.js.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience developing AI-driven automation for creative automation.
• Experience with After Effects, Cinema 4D, or Blender.
• Informal mentorship or team-lead experience.
• Familiarity with agile, cross-functional workflows across design, engineering, and strategy.
