Data Architect (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week, with assignments potentially requiring up to 5 days per week on a client site.

What you will do

• Define data blueprints and architecture for complex client programmes.
• Architect end-to-end data platforms covering ingestion, orchestration, governance, security, cost optimisation, and observability.
• Translate business needs into scalable, resilient, and secure data solutions.
• Lead engineering teams and take ownership of end-to-end assignment delivery.
• Lead bids, identify new opportunities, and contribute to business growth through internal and external networks.
• Set technical direction, develop thought leadership, share best practices, and support newer team members.

Requirements

• Hands-on data background with experience leading engineering teams to deliver applications and services.
• Clear understanding and practical application of data architecture and delivery methodologies.
• Ability to operate confidently across the data domain and understand the impact of AI on required solutions and their delivery.
• Strong client-facing, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
• Experience across the majority of leading technology vendors, including Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, Snowflake, and more.

Nice to have

• Certifications in appropriate methodologies and cloud technologies.

Hiring process

• Initial call with a Tech Recruiter.
• Two 60-minute rounds consisting of one competency interview and one technical interview, in either order.
• Final 60-minute meeting with a PA leader, including a mini case study and discussion of client-centricity.
