Senior Environment Artist (3D)

Location: Hybrid or remote in the UK, with a preference for 1 day per week onsite in Guildford.

Game development studio within the PlayStation Studios group, known for creating LittleBigPlanet, Tearaway, and Dreams.

What you will do

• Bring game levels to a high visual quality under the guidance of the Art Director.
• Model and refine existing stylised natural environments and architecture in Blender.
• Work with PBR workflows, lighting, and composition to maintain the intended visual style.
• Learn and use in-house plug-ins and tools while adapting to new technology.
• Collaborate closely with artists and teams through clear written and verbal communication.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Blender and experience modelling with PBR workflows.
• Affinity for stylised natural environments and architecture.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand in-house plug-ins and tools.
• Experience working on existing content while maintaining consistent quality and style.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience shipping 3D games.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping an AAA title.
• Experience with multiple game engines.
• Experience developing for PlayStation 5.
