Workforce Protection Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Hybrid in Foster City, California, United States; at least 3 days per week in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $35.00–$39.00 per hour for U.S. applicants.

What you will do

• Support hirify.global’s Insider Risk team and gain exposure to corporate investigations, threat assessment, and risk intelligence programs.
• Conduct research and analyze publicly available information to support investigative efforts.
• Contribute to initiatives that identify and mitigate insider threats.
• Assess behavioral, operational, and data-related risks in a global organization.
• Collaborate with partners across Security, Cybersecurity, Legal, and Human Resources.
• Use emerging technologies, including Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, to support everyday work.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.

Nice to have

• Degree studies in Political Science, International Relations, Government, Criminology, Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, or a related discipline.
• Interest in investigations, threat assessment, insider risk, intelligence gathering, or corporate security.
• Experience or coursework in open-source intelligence (OSINT), investigative research, behavioral analysis, or risk assessment.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and research skills, including the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
