Expert General Ledger Accountant

What you will do

• Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting, and tax compliance processes for the Hub entity.
• Oversee general ledger accounting across entities during monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation, explanations, and control compliance.
• Identify accounting errors and process inefficiencies, implement corrective actions, and maintain process documentation.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Finance, Legal, Systems, and other stakeholders to improve financial controls and process integration.
• Contribute to accounting transformation projects, system implementations, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, including strong General Ledger expertise.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with financial closing, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and accounting analysis.
• Knowledge of Mexican local tax compliance.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience in a shared services environment and in finance transformation, automation, or ERP implementation projects.

Nice to have
