Roblox Game Producer (UGC Gaming)

Location: Remote-first from the United States, with office attendance in Los Angeles for key client meetings, kickoffs, and team collaboration as needed; PST core hours Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM.

Salary: $30-$45 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead branded and original Roblox experiences from concept and pre-production through launch and live operations, managing schedules, scope, budgets, resourcing, risks, and quality.
• Build roadmaps, sprint plans, milestone schedules, documentation, workflows, and Agile ceremonies using Jira, Asana, Airtable, or comparable tools.
• Coordinate game designers, Luau scripters, 3D artists, UI/UX designers, QA, external studios, and freelance Roblox creators.
• Manage day-to-day communication with brand and agency partners, including status meetings, build presentations, expectation setting, and feedback management.
• Manage Roblox approval processes, brand guidelines, Advertising Standards, and content maturity requirements.
• Plan live-ops updates and events; monitor concurrent users, session length, retention, and conversion through Roblox Creator Dashboard; and run playtesting and QA.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Producer, Associate Producer, or similar role in games, interactive media, or branded entertainment, including at least one shipped Roblox experience.
• Deep knowledge of the Roblox platform, audience, and ecosystem, including Roblox Studio workflows, publishing, and platform approval processes.
• Experience taking games from pre-production through launch and into live operations.
• Strong proficiency with Jira, Asana, Airtable, or comparable project management tools, plus Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing projects for external brand or agency clients, including expectation setting, status reporting, and feedback management.
• Strong understanding of DAU, CCU, retention, session length, and using metrics to prioritize updates.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resourcing across multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to align creative, technical, and client stakeholders and keep teams motivated in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Experience producing on Fortnite Creative/UEFN, Minecraft, or other UGC gaming platforms.
• Background in commercial production, advertising, or agency environments.
• Familiarity with Luau scripting or hands-on Roblox Studio experience.
• Experience with Roblox monetization, including Game Passes, Developer Products, and UGC avatar items.
• Experience producing live in-game events, brand activations, or music and entertainment collaborations.
• Agile or Scrum certification such as CSM or PSM.
