Associate Producer (AAA Games)

Location: Hybrid/onsite in Santa Monica, California, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $40–$60.87 per hour.

What you will do

• Partner with production teams and discipline leads to develop and maintain project efforts and discipline plans.
• Schedule departmental and interdisciplinary tasking, break down complex work into subtasks, and track team progress.
• Coordinate communication between disciplines and project stakeholders, proactively gathering input and following through execution.
• Support onboarding and mentor junior production team members alongside Production Leadership.
• Participate in internal playtests and communicate feedback to relevant stakeholders.
• Work with the tools team to advance production-related software.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant game production experience with one or more published titles.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or GSuite and task-tracking software.
• Intermediate spreadsheet experience.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, process knowledge, and the ability to multitask.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with both large groups and individuals.
• Eagerness to learn new software tools and technologies.

Nice to have

• AAA game development experience.
• Working knowledge of project schedules and milestone documentation, including monitoring department milestones and individual tasks.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
• Experience with project management and task-tracking tools such as Jira, Shotgun, or Microsoft Project.
