Associate Producer (AAA Games)

Location: Hybrid / onsite in Santa Monica, California, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Base pay: $40–$60.87 USD per hour.

Naughty Dog develops AAA games and is seeking production support for its studio projects.

What you will do

• Partner with production teams and discipline leads to develop and maintain project efforts and discipline plans.
• Schedule departmental and interdisciplinary tasking, break down complex work into meaningful subtasks, and track progress.
• Coordinate communication between disciplines and team members, proactively involve affected groups, and follow up through execution.
• Help onboard new hires and mentor junior production team members with Production Leadership.
• Participate in internal playtests and communicate feedback to relevant stakeholders.
• Work with the tools team to advance production-related software and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant game production experience with one or more published titles.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and task-tracking software.
• Intermediate spreadsheet experience.
• Strong organization, prioritization, attention to detail, process knowledge, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with both large groups and individuals.
• Eagerness to learn new software tools and technologies.

Nice to have

• AAA experience.
• Working knowledge of project schedules and milestone documentation, including monitoring department milestones and individual tasks against schedules.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Shotgun, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling and task-tracking software.
