Associate Manager Software Engineering (Java)

Location: United States, Kansas, any city; the work model prioritizes in-person collaboration.

Salary: $84,400–$156,800 annually.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications supporting PCI compliance and vulnerability prevention.
• Expand Okta integration in Sabre to support migration.
• Migrate applications from Java 8 to Java 11 and Java 17.
• Implement SAML2 migration for single sign-on.
• Remove application vulnerabilities identified by Veracode.
• Serve as a consultant and advisor to other application developers on the team.

Requirements

• Experience with Java backend development, including SOAP and REST.
• Skills in at least one automation tool, such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python.
• Commanding knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Spock, Groovy, or other testing tools and frameworks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle management and Agile/Scrum methodology.
