Specialist, Program Finance (Defense)

Location: Greenville, Texas, US; onsite, 9/80 regular schedule with every other Friday off, first shift.

What you will do

• Support financial management, review, and estimating for assigned defense programs.
• Set up and activate projects, service orders, and production work orders in the ERP system.
• Monitor program costs and analyze labor, material, subcontract, and other direct cost estimates against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare Estimates at Completion for direct-charge programs in collaboration with cross-functional integrated product teams.
• Prepare monthly customer financial reports, verify actual cost reporting, perform variance analysis, and support monthly closing activities.
• Provide inputs to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and cash forecasts; review weekly labor and material charges and process necessary cost transfers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or at least 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, macros, and other features.
• Experience working with Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other functional disciplines in program development and execution.
• Experience with multiple contract types, including CP, FP, and T&M.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; US citizenship is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leadership, and other functions.
