Senior Manager, Game Production - VALORANT, Maps

Riot Games creates games and player-focused experiences, including VALORANT, through collaborative multidisciplinary teams.

What you will do

• Lead production planning and execution for a multidisciplinary pod building the VALORANT map experience.
• Create and maintain multi-discipline work systems, product roadmaps, and feature roadmaps.
• Coordinate level design, environment art, engineering, technical art, creative, product, and QA to translate goals into plans and measurable progress.
• Drive predictable delivery, surface risks and dependencies, and support informed tradeoffs.
• Ensure teams are appropriately structured, staffed, and funded while fostering psychological safety, healthy feedback, and conflict management.
• Improve production processes, velocity, collaboration, visibility, technical foundations, and cross-discipline partnerships.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software or game development.
• 4+ years in a leadership position working directly on game production.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience leading teams through art production and feature development, including planning, execution, delivery, and post-release support.
• Experience managing a cross-functional development team of 30 people.
• Experience leading projects with large outsourcing and co-development teams.
• Experience leading teams with long-term content development pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience in game development or a strong understanding of how artists, engineers, and game designers build assets and features for a modern game.
• Experience working on console, mobile, and PC games.
• Familiarity with VALORANT.
• Player empathy, craft expertise, collaborative spirit, and decision-making focused on player experience.
