Process Engineer (Liquid Paint Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage and continuously improve liquid paint manufacturing processes at the Cheonan Plant.
• Industrialize, localize, scale up, and implement new paint products.
• Optimize processes to improve productivity, quality, operational efficiency, and cost competitiveness while maintaining EHS and quality compliance.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing operations and collaborate with Global Technology, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for process, production, and customer complaint issues.
• Support equipment reliability, production capacity, automation, capital projects, equipment modifications, preventive maintenance, and operator training.

Requirements

• Experience with process management and continuous improvement in liquid paint manufacturing.
• Ability to support new-product industrialization, localization, scale-up, and implementation.
• Ability to investigate process and production issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions, including for customer complaints.
• Ability to work with manufacturing, technology, supply chain, quality, EHS, maintenance, and engineering functions.
• Knowledge of equipment reliability, production capacity improvement, process automation, capital projects, equipment modification, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to deliver operator training in new products, process safety, operational excellence, and quality control.
