Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: San Francisco; hybrid, based in San Francisco and in-office 3+ days per week.

Salary: $226,000–$302,000 plus equity.

hirify.global is an applied AI lab building an Agent Workspace for go-to-market teams, with AI products for dialing, prospecting, sequencing, and agent workflows.

What you will do

• Set the design direction for the Agent Workspace, defining the interaction model, information architecture, and core patterns that unify hirify.global product lines.
• Design human-agent workflows that determine when agents act independently, ask for approval, or return work to sales representatives.
• Design interfaces for reviewing agent activity across accounts, correcting errors, and building user trust.
• Ship products end to end, including prototypes and frontend changes in production using real model output, and iterate against agreed success metrics.
• Work directly with customers by joining calls, shadowing sales representatives, and validating shipped designs.
• Partner with the head of design to evolve the design system, lead challenging critiques, raise design quality, and support hiring.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience, including time leading design for a meaningful product area, working as a founding designer, or serving as the designer others turn to.
• A portfolio of shipped work on complex, high-frequency tools used for hours per day, such as B2B workflow, productivity, developer, or professional tools.
• Experience shipping AI-powered features and designing for non-deterministic output, latency, and errors.
• Experience working with engineers on prompts or evaluations to improve the user experience.
• Systems thinking and strong design judgment, with the ability to work from platform architecture through detailed interaction states.
• Ability to build in code and ship frontend work daily in a production React/TypeScript codebase using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.
• Strong but flexible opinions about human-agent collaboration.
• Willingness to speak with customers to validate designs.
• Ability to make the rest of the company faster.
• Based in San Francisco and excited to work in the office 3+ days per week.
