Senior Data Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, US; travel required 4–5 times a year.

What you will do

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders primarily through Looker, with an emphasis on automated rather than manually created information.
• Partner with business leaders to understand objectives and provide actionable recommendations.
• Progress from descriptive reporting toward proactive analysis that identifies opportunities for organizational improvement.
• Design and implement data models while maintaining data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple sources.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, product, and business stakeholders to optimize data collection and pipeline processes; mentor junior analysts and stay current with analytics technologies and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in analytics, data management, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation; Python is preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong data storytelling, problem-solving, time management, attention to detail, and results-oriented skills.
