Senior Product Manager, AI Platform

Location: Hybrid, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada; employment-based visa or work permit sponsorship is unavailable.

Base salary: CAD 132,500–149,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and long-term vision for the AI Evaluation Harness.
• Build scalable evaluation tools for AI developers across customers, healthcare verticals, and clinical risk levels.
• Lead continuous discovery, delivery, and iteration focused on end-user value.
• Work with software architects, engineers, and data scientists on platform architecture and AI tradeoffs.
• Coordinate with clinical, regulatory, quality, security, and data science experts to manage healthcare constraints.
• Lead a team of software engineers and AI developers while aligning stakeholders across the evaluation portfolio.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience on platform products, embedded with engineering scrum teams and including shipped and operated products.
• Hands-on experience shipping AI evaluation products used by customers, including LLM-as-a-judge frameworks, golden datasets, code assertions, and trace tooling; candidates must be able to describe problems solved and adoption and quality outcomes.
• Technical background in software engineering, systems engineering, data science, clinical informatics, or a comparable discipline, with the ability to review architecture and analyze LLM behavior.
• Experience aligning technical and non-technical leaders around a product vision and resolving conflicts through decisions.
• Experience owning a multi-tenant, version-controlled platform in a high-growth environment, including tenancy, versioning, and backward-compatibility tradeoffs.

Nice to have

• Healthcare domain fluency, including FHIR resources, clinical informatics, and interoperability standards.
• Experience with HIPAA, GxP, FDA SaMD, or other healthcare compliance frameworks, including validation or audit evidence in products.
• Experience building evaluations for clinical or high-stakes AI outputs such as summarization, coding, triage, or decision support, including clinician-in-the-loop labeling and adjudication.
