Director, Workplace Strategy

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote. Legal eligibility to work at the specified location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.

What you will do

• Translate hirify.global’s Global Workplace Experience Strategy into design strategies, workplace standards, and enablement approaches for real estate transformation projects.
• Advise leaders and project teams on workplace experience principles, enterprise priorities, future-of-work initiatives, and strategic solutions.
• Conduct market research, evaluate trends, and use employee feedback and workplace data to identify opportunities and inform recommendations.
• Develop change materials, approaches, and tactics to help leaders and team members adapt to evolving workplace environments and new ways of working.
• Partner with Enterprise Real Estate, Human Resources, Design, Technology, Corporate Security, Events, Retail, and Facilities Management.
• Prepare findings, business cases, and recommendations for senior leaders and executive forums, covering benefits, risks, dependencies, and decision-making considerations.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in workplace strategy, strategic planning and real estate transformation, and change enablement.
• Experience in workplace design, employee experience, operating model change, or enterprise transformation in a large, complex organization.
• A degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• Ability to identify workplace opportunities in support of business and workforce priorities.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and partners through clear, thoughtful expertise and recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, align priorities, and deliver shared outcomes.
• Experience developing strategic team goals, clarifying priorities and ways of working, and coaching others to support performance and growth.
• High standards, genuine care in professional relationships, and alignment with the organization’s values.

• Education or experience related to workplace strategy, business strategy, design, organizational change, or real estate.
