2027 Summer Internship (US) - Industry Message Strategy

Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the Lincolnshire, Illinois office; must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Research customer pain points and map them to basic Zebra product features.
• Organize messaging blocks and draft value propositions and key differentiators.
• Analyze performance metrics, identify engagement patterns, and propose optimizations.
• Audit competitor positioning and industry studies, synthesizing findings into executive summaries.
• Review agency-delivered assets for alignment with messaging frameworks and brand guidelines.
• Support go-to-market activities by tracking timelines, milestones, deliverables, publications, trends, and thought leadership topics.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Marketing, Marketing Analytics, or Business Analytics.
• Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and 2029.
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Strong secondary research and competitive intelligence skills.
• Ability to read and synthesize long-form industry reports from sources such as PwC, Gartner, and Deloitte into executive summaries.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Understanding of basic survey methodologies, including neutral, non-leading, and structured multiple-choice or ranking questions.
• Self-organization skills and intellectual curiosity about industrial technology.
• Experience using Generative AI and basic knowledge of prompt engineering.
• Adaptability, learning agility, and willingness to learn new tools or methods in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus basic familiarity with technology solutions.
