Senior Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, scale, and maintain data pipelines ingesting information from APIs, webhooks, and cloud storage.
• Implement domain modeling and transformation logic to unify disparate sources into high-fidelity data products.
• Modernize legacy processes into scalable, stable data architectures.
• Support and troubleshoot live integrations, diagnose hotel and internal issues, and communicate with stakeholders during incidents.
• Improve pipeline reliability and quality through observability, automated testing, and automation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, support, business teams, customers, and partners while investigating complex technical issues and using AI-assisted tools for debugging and recurring tasks.

Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines, with an interest in shaping the surrounding architecture.
• Professional proficiency in Python for large-scale data processing and pipeline development.
• Strong knowledge of data cloud technologies and hands-on experience with a major cloud platform such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience taking software from design through production monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills for discussing technical details and explaining complex data flows to technical stakeholders.
• Forward-thinking approach to using AI-assisted tools to deliver high-quality code faster.
