Senior Commissions Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Oversee complex commission payment cycles and ensure accurate, timely outcomes aligned with compensation plans, governance standards, and business requirements.
• Audit commission results, resolve discrepancies, and identify risks to strengthen financial controls and accountability.
• Support compensation planning and strategy through data-driven recommendations, plan documentation, and quota development.
• Analyze large volumes of sales and financial data to improve performance visibility, reporting, and business planning.
• Lead process and project improvements that increase the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of commission administration.
• Collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Legal, and Sales stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least four years of relevant experience in commission administration, compensation analysis, financial analysis, or a related field, including ownership of complex commission processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data-analysis skills, including managing large datasets, investigating discrepancies, and producing accurate sales reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and meet critical deadlines.
• Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues, provide guidance, and deliver shared business outcomes.
• Adaptability and accountability, with the ability to work independently, contribute within a team, and lead assigned projects and initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience using Xactly or another incentive compensation management platform.
• Experience supporting commission plan design, quota development, governance, or compensation strategy.
• Experience improving commission processes, controls, reporting, or analytical capabilities.
