Salary: $175,000–$205,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop, plan, and implement scalable network solutions, network layouts, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and related network software.
• Implement and manage firewall rules, access controls, and security protocols to protect data.
• Resolve network issues, monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve visibility through metrics and alerting.
• Create and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical area and 12 years of related experience, or 16 years of related experience without a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer within the last 3 years.
• Proficiency with Linux.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Security+ certification.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Nice to have

• Linux system administration experience.
• Working knowledge of Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Dell and HPE Linux servers, and patching or upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
• Experience with Ansible, Nutanix VM management, Rubrik data storage, Nomad containers, SALT scripts, LibreNMS, and NetBox.
