Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack (SaaS)

What you will do

• Build full-stack product experiences for Databricks customers in collaboration with engineering and product management.
• Develop the SQL Analytics Console for configuring, managing, and monitoring SQL workloads and business intelligence usage.
• Build and scale Jobs and Workflows services for asynchronous customer workloads, advanced workflows, and observability.
• Develop and govern developer ecosystem tools including the SDK, CLI, and Terraform components.
• Build app developer experience services, SDKs, code generation tools, and related development capabilities.
• Architect, deploy, and operate large-scale distributed systems.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Passion for user experience and design, with a deep understanding of front-end architecture.
• Ability to work toward a multi-year vision through incremental deliverables.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Ember.
• Strong familiarity with server-side web technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go, or JVM technologies.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience architecting, developing, deploying, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
