Senior Full-stack Developer (AI)

Location: Nootdorp, Netherlands; work from home is possible in accordance with manager approval and corporate policies.

Salary: €6,100–€7,700 per month, depending on relevant experience.

What you will do

• Design and build full-stack web applications and platform services using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
• Develop interactive map-based tools with real-time data integration, layer control, spatial editing, and GIS components.
• Build scalable, resilient, cost-aware cloud-native services for large geodata volumes, multiple tenants, and concurrent users.
• Contribute to architecture, product discovery, design collaboration, DevOps practices, code reviews, testing, and delivery guardrails.
• Advance AI-assisted development through task decomposition, context engineering, reusable agent skills, MCP integrations, automated checks, and evaluation.
• Mentor developers and help establish effective engineering practices across the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of full-stack development experience, preferably in enterprise or data-intensive environments.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React or equivalent frontend skills, plus Python, Java, or Node.js backend experience.
• Experience with API design, data modelling, service decomposition, AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Production experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including context engineering and verification of generated output.
• Strong testing discipline, familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and agile ways of working.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with Product, Design, and DevOps as equal partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with mapping libraries, spatial data handling, modern identity and access management, or marine, offshore, and remote sensing data.
• Experience mentoring colleagues and sharing engineering practices.
