Data Analyst (Energy)

What you will do

• Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable analytics solutions and process improvements.
• Understand business processes and data sources, model data for reuse, and support analytics data solutions.
• Acquire, clean, preprocess, query, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Develop analytical models to forecast future trends and outcomes.
• Create dashboards, reports, charts, graphs, and presentations that communicate actionable findings.
• Maintain data quality through audits and validation, support data governance, and help build data pipelines, automations, and advanced analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Zero to two years of experience required.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to identify data sources, query data, perform exploratory analysis or modeling, present historical insights and business justification, and support data-driven business changes.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources and communicate quantitative analysis clearly and precisely.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems with incomplete information or ambiguous requirements, using flexible analytical approaches.
• Skills in business partnering, communication, critical thinking, data analysis, data operations, data reporting, adaptability, digital transformation, influencing others, metrics management, and work management.

Nice to have

• Exposure to business intelligence self-service tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Exposure to data transformation tools such as SQL, ADF, Synapse, Power Query, M, Databricks, or similar tools.
