PD Program Manager (Medical Devices)

Location: On-site in Los Angeles, California, United States; compensation applies to United States locations excluding Puerto Rico and certain California locations.

Salary: USD 138,000–234,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead geographical expansion programs with Marketing, Regulatory, Technical Communications, and Operations teams to launch products across global markets.
• Manage end-of-life programs and the transition or replacement of legacy products while maintaining business continuity and minimizing disruption.
• Lead cross-functional projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes, and therapies.
• Oversee project operations, schedules, budgets, status reporting, delivery, and communication between project teams, line management, and stakeholders.
• Assess project issues, develop resolutions, and create mechanisms for progress monitoring, intervention, and problem-solving.
• Gather, plan, elicit, and manage requirements while securing stakeholder engagement and ensuring that delivered products and processes address business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another scientific discipline and 5+ years of experience in technical program management, or an advanced degree in Engineering or another scientific discipline and 3+ years of experience in technical program management.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional certification (PMP).
• Experience developing drug delivery devices, preferably insulin delivery devices.
• Strong project management skills, including execution against project contracts and knowledge of process and project planning best practices.
• Experience leading within matrix organizations and using strong influence management skills.
• Experience collaborating at all organizational levels in a matrix environment to build and maintain relationships needed to achieve organizational goals.
