In Transit Security Specialist (T&T)

Location: Belgrade, Serbia; Lviv, Ukraine; Novi Sad, Serbia; or Nis, Serbia. Remote work is stated, but the role also requires working in the office 5 days a week and working weekends and holidays as needed.

What you will do

• Protect the integrity of high-value, high-security cargo by applying in-transit security processes.
• Create solutions for process breakdowns and communicate shipment updates to customers.
• Coordinate with business units and monitor shipments across multiple systems.
• Enter and confirm key milestones, including departures, arrivals, and proof of delivery, using McLeod and other systems.
• Download temperature records, pictures, proof of delivery, and other paperwork to load documents and complete loads for billing.
• Manage security risks, escalate suspicious freight activity, and update customer portals.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service; 3 years of logistics experience are needed for success.
• Upper-intermediate English is mandatory.
• Advanced knowledge of the supply chain industry, including regulations and customer requirements.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems analytically, and maintain extreme attention to detail.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication, conflict-resolution experience, and emotional intelligence.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Ability to understand and communicate drivers’ temperature requirements, mileage, and hours-of-service information during transit.
• Self-confidence, self-motivation, extroversion, flexibility, and the ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work in the office 5 days a week and work weekends and holidays as needed.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TSA and GDP practices.
