Associate Financial Advisor

Location: On-site full-time at Oshawa-401 & Stevenson, Oshawa, ON, Canada

What you will do

• Meet with personal and small business clients to understand their priorities and recommend personalized financial, investment, credit, and banking solutions.
• Provide forward-looking financial plans and introduce clients to Imperial Service and Business Banking colleagues when appropriate.
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients and deepen client relationships.
• Build relationships through networking, outreach, outbound calls, and community and banking centre events.
• Identify growth and revenue opportunities and refer clients to appropriate partners.
• Help clients use hirify.global mobile banking applications and manage their banking needs digitally.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice to clients and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
• Eligibility to meet CIRO-MFD licensing requirements.
• Client-first mindset, goal orientation, critical thinking, attention to detail, curiosity, and strong relationship-building skills.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit.

Nice to have

• Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
