Technical Writer

Location: Marietta, GA 30062, USA; onsite. U.S. Persons only due to ITAR-controlled information.

Provides testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services across manufacturing, power generation, aerospace, medical, and defense markets.

What you will do

• Generate technical reports from datasheets and pictures prepared by laboratory personnel.
• Read raw analysis data and enter it into structured Microsoft Word report templates.
• Prepare report revisions and incorporate changes requested during technical review.
• Deliver finalized test reports to clients on time.
• Occasionally assist in laboratory or office activities, Project Managers, and other Technical Writers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to represent the company with customers.
• Ability to communicate with technical laboratory personnel and customers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and deliver on time.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in a scientific or technical field.
