What you will do

• Design and execute functional and regression test cases for regulatory reporting logic, bug fixes, feature improvements, releases, and client hotfixes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product managers to understand functional and regulatory requirements and validate implementation correctness.
• Build, upgrade, and maintain test environments and test data for ongoing quality assurance.
• Document test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios, and maintain the test management system with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and support existing solutions, resolving issues across data transformation and reporting workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance, data engineering, or regulatory reporting roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Ability to understand and validate complex data transformation logic and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work effectively with AI tools, and excellent communication in cross-functional team environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or regulatory technology (RegTech).
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, or data governance.
• Familiarity with Basel III/IV regulatory frameworks and financial risk concepts including Liquidity, LCR, NSFR, or LMT.
• Exposure to Python, Java, or other scripting languages.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting platforms or Agile delivery methodologies.
