Senior QA Tester (Banking)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw or Tricity (Gdańsk/Gdynia), Poland; 2–3 days per week from the office.

Rate: up to 110 PLN/h net on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Plan, design, and execute tests for complex software systems.
• Ensure QA activities are efficient, well documented, and aligned with current quality standards.
• Analyse and create test cases and scenarios, then report and manage defects through the full lifecycle.
• Recommend actions based on test results and work with automation testers to secure manual and automated regression coverage.
• Collaborate actively with the Scrum team to ensure high delivery quality.

Requirements

• ISTQB certification.
• 8+ years of professional Quality Assurance experience, preferably in Agile teams.
• Ability to drive and support QA activities across a delivery team as an individual contributor.
• Experience defining, executing, and reporting tests for complex software systems.
• Experience with web and mobile testing, including cloud-based mobile testing platforms such as BrowserStack, and system testing of modern web and mobile UIs.
• API testing experience with Postman and Swagger.
• Experience with test management tools, preferably qTest or similar.
• Practical experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong attention to detail, quality mindset, problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and comfort working in an international environment.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Test automation experience.
• Working knowledge of the PEGA platform.
• Working knowledge of AI tools.
• Experience with SAFe.
