Salary: Associate (Level 2) $71,650–$109,800; Mid-Level (Level 3) $85,600–$131,200 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams to develop and guide program manufacturing and tooling plans.
• Identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies and improve manufacturing processes supporting type design.
• Develop, establish, and guide requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, and manufacturing configurations.
• Perform trade and cost studies and assist in leading integrated product and process teams.
• Apply process engineering principles in one or more areas: composite non-metallic, electrical/electronics, machining, sheet metal, systems, or structures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government, and a final Secret Clearance is required after starting.

Nice to have

• For Mid-Level (Level 3): 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including customer and supplier interaction.
• Knowledge of engineering systems and deployment of continuous improvement tools such as Seven Wastes.
• Detailed knowledge of 2D and 3D design methods and strong drawing and design interpretation skills.
• Practical engineering knowledge and strong understanding of metallic and composite manufacturing techniques and treatment processes.
• Self-driven, can-do attitude.
• Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
