What you will do

• Plan and coordinate Field Training Exercises, Command Post Exercises, Tabletop Exercises, Senior Leader Seminars, and other training events for tactical, operational, and strategic forces.
• Plan exercise operations and logistics using exercise objectives, MARFORPAC capabilities, deployment requirements, forward operating location assessments, and resource constraints.
• Support exercise planning across the Joint Event Life Cycle, including planning meetings and presentation of plans documentation.
• Support observer/controller activities and document lessons learned for after-action reporting.
• Maintain and update exercise databases through JTIMS and other DOW applications, and provide JOPES, DCAPES, and TPFDD support as needed.
• Support training plans, program development, and Theater Security Cooperation plans and activities.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree; an associate’s degree may be considered with an additional three years of practical experience.
• At least four years of relevant experience within a three- or four-star general officer or flag officer-level operational or strategic command.
• Experience as a staff-level exercise planner.
• Working knowledge of the Pacific theater and the relationships and general interactions between the nations within it.
• Knowledge of the operational and logistical support required for exercises, deployments, and mobilizations, including familiarity with TPFDD nomenclature.

Nice to have

• Experience planning and executing CPXs and FTXs within the PACOM Area of Responsibility.
• Operational and/or logistical experience in the PACOM Area of Responsibility and experience supporting Theater Security Cooperation efforts.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills, with proven staff officer or contractor support excellence.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
