Data Scientist - Campus Full-Time

Location: Hybrid in New York, United States, with flexible in-office days.

Base pay: $225,000 per year, with potential discretionary bonus and additional benefits.

What you will do

• Independently research and develop hypotheses using diverse real-world datasets.
• Conduct literature reviews and apply advanced methodologies to extract meaningful signals from large data holdings.
• Partner with engineers and business stakeholders to explore and rigorously test theories.
• Participate in reading circles and academic seminars to stay current with research in relevant fields.

Requirements

• Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline such as chemistry, computer science, economics, statistics, or quantitative social science with an applied empirical focus; all degree levels from bachelor’s to doctorate are welcome.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience completing an in-depth research project involving real-world data.
• Independent thinking, creative data analysis, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• A quantitative and data-driven mindset for nontraditional and difficult-to-quantify problems.
