FP&A Senior Analyst (AI)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work policy with flexible in-office days.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 base pay per year, plus possible discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage annual financial planning, projections, and monthly reporting for the Engineering area.
• Partner with collaborators on financial analytics for compute spending and support the compute expense charge-out framework.
• Build and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics tooling using AI-assisted development tools, databases, and frontend applications.
• Model business scenarios and outcomes and provide data-driven decision support.
• Refactor and migrate reporting workflows into scalable SQL-based models.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on data sourcing and validation and maintain financial data governance frameworks.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of work experience, ideally including exposure to technology or cloud infrastructure spend.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative, resourceful, and experienced with project management.
• Experience with AI-powered coding platforms such as Claude Code and data management practices for building financial dashboards and streamlining processes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with technology cost structures, including cloud billing, unit economics management, cost recovery, datacenter costs, and server cost management.
