Oracle E-Business Financials Functional Consultant (Contract) (Oracle EBS)

Location: Hybrid role based in Dublin or Cork, Ireland, with occasional travel to the nearest base office or client site. Irish security clearance eligibility is required.

What you will do

• Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders to understand processes and requirements.
• Analyse Financials and Procurement operations and map future-state solutions in Oracle EBS 12.2.
• Drive process mapping, redesign, business transformation, gap analysis, efficiency, and automation initiatives.
• Define functional solutions and produce ERP landscape and process documentation.
• Support the full implementation lifecycle, including design, testing, training, deployment, go-live, and post-implementation support.
• Advise stakeholders on Oracle EBS capabilities and limitations.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of Oracle consulting experience.
• Oracle EBS Financials expertise covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Tax, Subledger Accounting, Expenses, and Advanced Collections.
• Strong Oracle Procurement and Procure-to-Pay experience covering Procurement, Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, and Inventory.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging senior business stakeholders.
• Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, and process mapping skills.
• At least two successfully delivered Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, or migration programmes.
• Experience supporting testing, training, and business change activities.
• Eligibility for Irish security clearance.

Nice to have

• Oracle certifications.
• PRINCE2, PMP, or relevant project delivery certifications.
• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Experience with OBIEE and BI Publisher.
• Local Government or Central Government experience.
• Experience working within complex transformation programmes.
