Data Analyst II (Hybrid)

Location: Mexico City; hybrid work with opportunities to participate in onsites in the US and Mexico.

What you will do

• Lead complex data analysis projects across multiple business units, from requirements gathering through final recommendations.
• Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets while maintaining data quality and integrity.
• Build and maintain statistical models, KPI dashboards, and visualizations that identify trends and generate actionable insights.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and other stakeholders to define success, measure impact, and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Communicate analysis results and opportunities to improve business and customer outcomes.
• Mentor junior analysts and collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data infrastructure and accessibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying, with programming experience such as SQL and Python.
• Experience building dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or similar business intelligence tools.
• Ability to interpret complex data using advanced analytics, including predictive modeling for forecasting trends and optimizing business outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to multiple stakeholders.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Enthusiasm for data and analytics, learning new techniques and skills, and working with data scientists and engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt Cloud or similar tools.
• Knowledge of ETL pipelines and data warehouse best practices.
• Knowledge of regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and multivariate analysis.
