TL;DR

Analytics Engineer (Snowflake/dbt/Python): Building and maintaining reliable data models, warehouse architecture, dashboards, and reporting datasets that support product, finance, and marketing decisions with an accent on data transformation, stakeholder requirements, and analytical data quality. Focus on designing scalable dbt models, implementing testing frameworks, translating business questions into technical solutions, and documenting metrics and workflows.

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; Remote. Workplace type: Fully Remote

What you will do

Design, develop, and maintain dbt data models that transform raw data into reliable, usable datasets.
Build and maintain Snowflake data architecture and centralized analytics infrastructure.
Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business questions into technical data solutions.
Create and maintain dashboards and reporting deliverables for stakeholder needs.
Monitor data quality, implement testing frameworks, and maintain documentation for models, metric definitions, and workflows.
Act as a liaison between business units, engineers, and analysts while delivering timely analytical data solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in a technical analytics role and experience working with large, messy datasets.
Very good knowledge of SQL and proven experience with Python.
Hands-on experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
Proficiency with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse platform.
Experience with reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Apache Superset.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, collaborate with engineers and analysts, and manage stakeholders independently.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate findings clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Commitment to continuous problem-solving with data and alignment with hirify.global values.

Nice to have

Experience with a workflow management system such as Airflow.
Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, and graph database technologies.
