React Developer (AI)

Location: Cebu City, Philippines; fully remote

What you will do

• Develop scalable, secure, well-documented web applications and responsive user interfaces with React.
• Create automated tests and collaborate with engineers, testers, designers, and product owners to deliver reliable products.
• Review, debug, optimize, and refactor code to improve performance and maintainability.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions while identifying improvements to performance, security, and user experience.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and application monitoring.
• Use AI-powered tools for code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional software development experience building web applications and at least 4 years of professional React experience.
• Practical experience with AI-powered development tools and the ability to review and validate AI-generated outputs.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, with familiarity with state management, routing, and component-based architecture.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and clean coding principles, including SOLID, KISS, DRY, and YAGNI.
• Knowledge of HTTP, TLS/SSL, authentication, security best practices, performance, and optimization.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Good English communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redux or similar state management libraries and frontend testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI tools.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and application performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
