SFCC Fullstack Developer (Salesforce Commerce Cloud)

What you will do

• Architect, engineer, deploy, scale, and maintain marketplace technologies and the existing custom technology ecosystem.
• Develop flagship brand websites with attention to usability, resilience, performance, scalability, and security.
• Build cross-browser and cross-device pages, templates, and content slots using ISML, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, XML, CSS, and AJAX.
• Integrate templates and content slots with Pipelines and Controllers on Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Define frontend frameworks for complex designs and interactions that reflect the intended user experience.
• Mentor project contributors, participate in project scoping and planning, prepare proposals, and write technical documentation, white papers, and presentations.

Requirements

• Proven experience working on the SFCC/Demandware platform as a senior backend developer.
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware SiteGenesis or SFRA, the Services framework, and other platform capabilities.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms, frontend application architecture, and modular object-oriented JavaScript.
• Knowledge of JavaScript design patterns, including Factory, Strategy, Module, Reveal, Facade, and Asynchronous Module Definition patterns.
• Strong experience with jQuery, including writing custom plugins, and knowledge of JavaScript MV* frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AngularJS, including custom directives and services, and with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, LESS, and Stylus.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with modular CSS using SMACSS and Object-Oriented CSS methodologies, plus frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap, Semantic-UI, and Foundation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JavaScript unit testing using Jasmine and Karma, and frontend tooling including custom Grunt automation tasks.
• Experience developing frontend architectures for content management systems such as SharePoint, Umbraco, Episerver, Sitefinity, and Sitecore.
• Ability to maintain and extend backend development guidelines and project boilerplate used by internal and offshore development teams; understanding of HTML5 semantic elements, Microdata, and Google Rich Snippets for in-page SEO.
