Data & Platform Analytics Lead

Location: London, UK; Stockholm, Sweden; Oslo, Norway; or Copenhagen, Denmark. Hybrid work with an expectation of 2–3 days per week in the office. Existing eligibility to work in the country of application is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: £80,000–£90,000/month; alternatively stated as 810,000–895,000 SEK, 1,000,000–1,135,000 NOK, or 730,000–825,000 DKK.

What you will do

• Own the Snowflake data platform, including data structure, access, cost, performance, and security.
• Run and extend Fivetran and API integrations with monitoring and alerts.
• Define and govern core metrics such as customers, ARR, churn, pipeline, headcount, and usage.
• Develop documented dbt models from raw data through the governed reporting layer.
• Reconcile data with source systems and financial ledgers, investigate anomalies, and enforce data quality.
• Build dashboards and monthly management reporting, explain movements to senior stakeholders, and drive adoption of consistent definitions and reports.

Requirements

• Experience in SaaS or subscription businesses with a deep understanding of ARR movements, churn, cohorts, and the differences between bookings, billing, and revenue.
• Experience working within or closely alongside a finance team.
• Strong SQL and experience building a modelled reporting layer in dbt or an equivalent tool.
• Working competence with a cloud data warehouse, ideally Snowflake.
• Evidence of analysis that changed a decision, including what was found and what happened next.
• Experience reconciling data between sources and identifying plausible but incorrect data.
• Experience aligning senior stakeholders from different functions on shared definitions and enforcing those definitions.
• Confidence challenging data practices, working independently, and acting as a self-starter.
• Daily use of AI tools, with examples of what was built and how its results were checked.
• Ability to explain numbers and their caveats to a board member concisely.

Nice to have

• Experience with Abacum.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Snowflake administration, including performance, access control, and cost management.
• Fivetran or a similar tool and API integrations.
• Python or similar scripting experience.
• Experience in FP&A or supporting external or investor reporting.
• Experience with system migration or historical data loading.
• Data governance experience involving confidential financial and personal data.
