Company

hirify.global is a technology services company with expertise in business and systems analysis, supporting international technology and engineering projects.

What you will do

  • Monitor US federal regulatory sources quarterly, including FCC equipment authorization, the Cyber Trust Mark, NIST/OMB IoT guidance, NHTSA vehicle cybersecurity guidance, and CPSC requirements.
  • Track relevant state-level connected-device, AI, and privacy laws.
  • Assess how new and amended regulations apply to hardware, embedded software, and cloud-service product categories.
  • Distinguish between consumer and B2B/industrial requirements and flag uncertainty where applicability is unclear.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience tracking US federal rulemaking and multi-state legislation in product or technology regulation, including IoT, connected devices, or wireless equipment.
  • Working knowledge of FCC equipment authorization under Part 15 and the US Cyber Trust Mark program.
  • Knowledge of state connected-device laws, including California SB-327 and Oregon requirements.
  • Awareness of NHTSA vehicle cybersecurity guidance and state AI laws in Colorado, California, and Illinois.
  • Familiarity with US state privacy laws, including CCPA/CPRA, as they apply to device data such as geolocation and video/audio.
  • Ability to judge consumer versus B2B applicability and flag uncertainty instead of reaching unsupported conclusions.
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate or above.

  • Access to BA and SA meetups and compensation support for international professional certificates.
