AI Tutor - Latvian

Location: Remote; available from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia. US-based candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois. Travel to a SpaceXSI site may be required.

Salary: US-based candidates: $35–$45 per hour. Compensation information for international candidates is provided during recruitment.

What you will do

• Annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, and speech samples using proprietary tools.
• Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and other content from English into Latvian.
• Produce clear, natural audio data representing intonation, rhythm, accent, and other linguistic details.
• Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation guidelines and tools for accents, background noise, speech variation, and multilingual audio.

Requirements

• Latvian proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Native proficiency in Latvian.
• English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• Experience with advanced transcription or audio annotation, including accents, prosody, disfluencies, and variable recording quality.
• Experience translating or localizing UI, product, or conversational text between English and Latvian.
• Experience with voice recording, voice acting, podcasting, or related audio production.
• Background in linguistics, phonetics, speech sciences, or speech/audio datasets and AI training data.
