AI Tutor - Estonian (AI)

Location: Remote; available from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia. Travel to a SpaceXSI site may be required. US-based candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois. Full-time roles require standard business hours in the local time zone.

Salary: US-based candidates receive $35–$45 per hour. Compensation information for international candidates is provided during recruitment.

What you will do

• Annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, and speech samples using proprietary tools.
• Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and other content from English into Estonian.
• Produce clear, natural audio data capturing pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, accent, and other prosodic details.
• Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation guidelines and tools for accents, background noise, speech variation, and multilingual audio.

Requirements

• Estonian proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia.

Nice to have

• Native proficiency in Estonian.
• English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• Advanced transcription or audio annotation experience involving accents, prosody, disfluencies, and variable recording quality.
• Translation or localization experience between English and Estonian, especially for UI, product, or conversational text.
• Voice recording, voice acting, podcasting, or related audio production experience.
• Background in linguistics, phonetics, speech sciences, or speech/audio datasets and AI training data.
