Data Engineer (FinTech): Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse solutions with an accent on complex SQL, data modeling, and data quality validation. Focus on optimizing queries, developing BI reporting with Power BI, and handling trading and financial data.
🚀 We’re Hiring: Data Engineer | Remote | 3–6 Month Contract
We’re looking for a Data Engineer with strong SQL skills and experience in FinTech or financial services to join our team on a remote contract.
🔹 Must-have requirements:
2+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI, or a related field
Strong SQL skills — complex queries, joins, aggregations, window functions, and query optimization
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse solutions
Experience with data modeling and data quality validation
At least 1 year of experience with Power BI or a similar BI platform
Good English communication skills
⭐ Strongly preferred:
FinTech experience, especially Forex, CFD, or brokerage
Experience working with trading and financial data
Knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, or Power BI
Experience with CRM systems, payment providers, or MetaTrader 4/5
💡 Experience with Python, cloud platforms, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake is a plus.
📍 Location: Remote
📅 Contract duration: 3–6 months ( with the possibility of extension)
