Company
InPost Pay is building a fintech platform from the ground up as a large-scale international initiative, with a lean engineering organization in Poland and AI-native engineering at its core.
What you will do
- Own and prioritise the roadmap for feature stores, decisioning and underwriting datasets, and self-serve analytics products across BNPL and Acquiring & Payments.
- Translate credit, underwriting, fraud, and commercial needs into prioritised data-product specifications and acceptance criteria for Data Engineering and ML teams.
- Align the roadmap with platform capacity, feature-store architecture, and delivery sequencing in partnership with Data Engineering, Analytics, ML, and MLOps leadership.
- Lead AI-first and agentic delivery, including guardrails, evaluations, human-in-the-loop workflows, and control of agent-loop cost and latency.
- Define and track portfolio outcomes such as adoption, self-serve usage, and decisioning-data SLAs, and report progress and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
- Lead up to three Data Consultants and manage their capacity planning across both product domains.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience for data products or data platforms, including leading or coordinating technical and analytical teams, directly or through a matrix.
- 3+ years of experience in fintech, credit, lending, or payments, with knowledge of BNPL origination, underwriting, and transaction or acquiring flows.
- Hands-on ability to interrogate data with SQL and use AI as a daily tool.
- Strong data-product strategy and roadmap ownership for feature stores and decisioning datasets, including point-in-time correctness, freshness, lineage, and self-serve enablement.
- Ability to convert business, credit-risk, and ML needs into buildable, prioritised specifications and manage stakeholders across multiple product lines and delivery teams.
- Knowledge of regulations governing credit and payments data.
- 2+ years of experience in AI-first data-product leadership, including agents in decisioning or data-product surfaces, guardrails, evaluations, human-in-the-loop workflows, and agent-loop cost and latency control.
- Experience establishing AI-first ways of working with LLM-assisted analysis and agentic tooling, and influencing Credit & Fraud Risk, Engineering, and Commercial stakeholders without direct authority.
- Ability to prioritise and reprioritise roadmaps across two product lines under real capacity constraints, with a strategic and outcome-focused approach.
- Fluent English at B2+ level.
Nice to have
- Feature-store or ML-enabled decisioning product experience.
- Acquiring or merchant payments data experience, including merchant acquiring and payment-scheme data structures.
- ML/MLOps fundamentals sufficient for credible partnership with ML & MLOps Engineering.
- Knowledge of IFRS 9 or credit-provisioning data concepts.
- Experience building self-serve analytics products for commercial or risk teams.
- Databricks or lakehouse platform familiarity.
Culture & Benefits
- Architectural authority from day one, with design decisions shaping a greenfield, high-stakes platform.
- Modern technology stack and a lean, AI-native team with room to experiment and bring new technologies into production.
- Collaborative, fast-moving environment with autonomy and accountability.
- Hybrid work arrangement with an office day ideally once a week in Warsaw or KrakΓ³w.
- B2B contract.
