Equipment Development Engineering Intern, AI

Location: Woodlands, Singapore, W2; onsite at the Woodlands manufacturing site. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Work with data scientist mentors to formulate engineering and business challenges as AI problems for complex manufacturing processes and capacity planning controls.
• Develop anomaly detection and root cause analysis solutions using manufacturing sensor and operational data.
• Apply time series foundation models, causal AI, AI-driven optimization, and reasoning of actionable parameters to model manufacturing behavior.
• Design and implement scalable data and AI systems for large-scale manufacturing datasets using Python, advanced AI/ML modeling, and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Assist in designing and developing machine learning dashboards, image and video AI analytics, and a Large Language Model Chatbot for equipment development.
• Fine-tune and optimize solutions for performance scalability and reliability within the equipment development domain.

• Ability to commit to the full internship period from January through June.
