Technical Project Manager – Factory Staging (Optical Networking)

Location: Pattaya, Thailand; regular on-site presence at the Celestica facility required. Travel up to 40% and work outside standard hours may be required for factory operations, customer milestones, escalations, and global teams.

What you will do

• Lead factory staging and Factory Acceptance Testing projects from technical order validation and scope definition through factory delivery, shipment, and operational reporting.
• Validate customer requirements, technical orders, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and scope of work; prepare statements of work and technician resource requirements.
• Develop integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, action plans, risk and issue tracking, dependency plans, forecasts, and status reports.
• Direct capacity and workforce planning with Celestica and hirify.global functional teams, including complete scope-of-work packages and partner requests for quotation.
• Coordinate Engineering, Deployment Coordinators, Manufacturing, Services, Information Technology, regional technical teams, partners, suppliers, and customer teams.
• Monitor quality, schedule, throughput, capacity, cost, delivery, revenue assurance, inventory readiness, shipments, service levels, and factory metrics; resolve technical issues and drive improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• 3–8 years of directly related experience in optical, Ethernet, telecommunications services, manufacturing, factory staging, or technical project delivery.
• Experience translating customer and technical requirements into executable scope, tasks, milestones, resource plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Background in project coordination, resource management, outsourcing or partner delivery, and cross-functional execution.
• Problem-solving, decision-making, critical-thinking, leadership, team-building, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn project-management and SIF software tools.
• Ability to work at, or maintain regular on-site presence at, the Celestica facility in Thailand.
• Ability to travel up to 40% based on business and project requirements and work outside standard hours when required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of just-in-time concepts, inventory flow, factory operations, or supply-chain coordination.
• Broad knowledge of hirify.global’s product portfolio and prior experience in a Services organization.
