Area IT Manager (Hospitality Technology)

Location: Bangkok; travel to assigned hotels is required.

What you will do

• Oversee the installation, upgrade, conversion, and support of hotel IT systems, ensuring delivery within timelines, budgets, and technical standards.
• Coordinate hotel systems projects, pre-installation meetings, vendors, hotels, developers, and regional and corporate stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with brand IT standards, review deviations, recommend corrective actions, and support resolution of hotel systems disputes.
• Provide first- and second-level technical support and manage infrastructure services including workstations, servers, networks, Active Directory, backup, email, and VPN.
• Conduct technical training, mentor Hotel IT Managers, and prepare technical and user documentation.
• Participate in hotel openings, conversions, IT audits, Property Improvement Plans, product testing, and new product implementations.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT systems implementation, infrastructure management, technical support, or IT project coordination within the hospitality industry.
• Experience managing hotel IT systems installations, upgrades, conversions, and implementations within agreed timelines, budgets, and technical standards.
• Strong knowledge of hotel systems, hospitality technology solutions, and approved vendor products, including first- and second-level technical support and escalated issue troubleshooting.
• Project management experience covering planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, milestone monitoring, budget management, and implementation risks.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, including workstations, servers, networks, Active Directory, backup solutions, email systems, and VPN services.
• Ability to assess compliance with brand IT standards, identify deviations, recommend corrective actions, and align systems with global technology requirements and procedures.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to gather business requirements, translate hotel operational needs into IT solutions, and collaborate with developers to improve products and services.
• Willingness to travel to assigned hotels for implementations, upgrades, audits, and operational IT support.
