Senior Software Developer (.NET)

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia; hybrid working. Applicants must have unrestricted permanent rights to work in Australia through Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

What you will do

• Develop new software applications and enhance, maintain, and support existing applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Implement user stories and technical requirements, participate in sprint planning, Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and release planning.
• Conduct code reviews, implement unit testing, and support high-quality software delivery.
• Support and maintain staging and production cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and technical issues for clients and internal users.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, business stakeholders, and end users while supporting knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, compliance, risk management, and governance.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a .NET Developer.
• Advanced technical skills in C#, Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud environments and CI/CD practices, including Infrastructure as Code and Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of secure coding principles, including OWASP practices.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as VueJS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and within a Scrum team environment.
• Unrestricted permanent rights to work in Australia; Australian citizenship or permanent residency only.
